What is Dance?

According to the American College Dictionary, the word Dance means:
  • to move the feet or rest of the body rhythmically, especially to music
  • to skip, leap tec as from excitement or emotion; move nimbly or quickly
  • to bob up and down
  • to perform or take part in a dance

Dance will be the exact expression of the person doing the movement.  To the unregenerated soul, dance will be an expression of void performance.  To the spirit of a born again Christian, dance will be an expression of the Holy Spirit.  It will communicate Spirit to Spirit with those interpreting praise unto God.

Dance apart from God is exercise, but when done by redeemed believers it is an act of worship.  As our lives become set apart unto God, sanctified and yeilded to him as an act of love, Praise and Worship will cause us to be lifted up into his presence.

Worship is a lifestyle; Every moment in all we do should be spent praising our Lord.
